Cambridge College

Since the foundation of the school in 2002, Cambridge College is ever growing and improving. From new teachers to new classrooms. Some members of our excellent staff left us, and many young but experienced teachers brought with them youth and enthusiasm and with good reason. Cambridge has a legacy to withhold with academic, athletic and artistic excellence.

The foundation of Cambridge College marked a milestone in the history of Bolivian education, establishing the idea of providing a first class education that could compete with the best, not only in Bolivia but in South America and even the rest of the world. A school that would give students the opportunity to study abroad on an equal footing with their peers from any corner in the globe.

It was then that the big question arose: "¿How to carry out such a daring, visionary project?". Obviously, it would be necessary to obtain the assistance of an expert organization in the field of education at a world level. Not surprisingly, the search led us to Europe, to be precise to the international arm of one of the oldest universities in England, the University of Cambridge and so we became an International Examinations Centre (CIE) and part of Cambridge Assessment - International Education as an Authorised Cambridge International School. It is well known that the University of Cambridge is an organization that, for well over half a century, has been dedicated to the development of education around the world.

Every year more of our students have turned in excellent performances in academic events arranged by local universities. We should be particularly proud of the results obtained in the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations and also in the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level examinations, implemented for the first year in 2004.

Cambridge College not only managed to get students International Examinations but also implemented personal growth programs that enable a student to become a person with values, with our social service program "Cambridge in the Community" and the well known international program "Duke of Edinburgh's International Award".

We will continue with our motto "Building Future Leaders" and we look forward to the future!
